Minimum Qualifications:
-High School Diploma or GED
-Journeyman experience or completion of an apprenticeship program
-Working knowledge of electrical systems and industrial equipment
-Strong verbal and written communication skills
-Ability to safely perform under pressure in a fast-paced industrial environment.
-Basic troubleshooting abilities with electrical control systems
-Willing to perform physically demanding tasks, such as heavy lifting, climbing ladders, and crawling
-Basic Computer Skills
Preferred Qualifications:
-Journeyman Certificate and/or associate degree
-NFPA 70E Compliance training
-OSHA 10 hour Certification
-Troubleshooting abilities with electrical controls, VFDs, PLCs and industrial networks.
-Working knowledge and experience with motor control systems, three phase motors, VFDs and PLCs.
Key Responsibilities:
-Ensure that all site electrical systems are maintained in good working order to ensure safety and efficiency of mill equipment.
-Installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electric motors, controls, PLCs, and scanners.
-Work as team player with maintenance and production crews.
